About this piece
The Seeker Tee is inspired by the timeless wisdom of Bernard of Chartres, a 12th-century philosopher, who first said, “In comparison to the ancients, we stand like dwarves on the shoulders of giants.” This profound idea was later rephrased by figures like Isaac Newton and Carl Sagan, who echoed the sentiment in their own words, acknowledging that our understanding of the world is built upon the discoveries of those who came before us. The graphic on this tee captures the spirit of intellectual humility and the never-ending pursuit of knowledge, reminding us that every new discovery stands on the shoulders of giants who paved the way.
