About the Abbas Robe — Fit, Fabric & Care ▾
Pure linen in a charcoal ticking stripe on cream — the most classic pattern we weave, and the one that reads as a garment rather than as bathroom kit. Flat-woven rather than looped, so it hangs like a light coat and can be worn well past the bathroom door.
Why 100% linen
It regulates temperature. Linen breathes through summer and still holds warmth after a winter bath — one robe for every season.
It does not stay damp. Linen sheds moisture faster than any other robe fibre, so it dries on the hook rather than against the wall.
It gets better with age. Linen softens with every wash and outlasts terry by years instead of matting.
It packs flat. Folds small enough for hand luggage.
Fit
Cut unisex and relaxed, with a generous wrap, two front pockets and a tie belt. This robe runs from XS through XXL — a wider range than most of our line, so it suits smaller frames as well as larger ones. Size up if you prefer a longer, looser fit.
Care
Cold wash only, hang dry. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats linen fibres and dulls both absorbency and drape. The stripe holds best washed cool and dried out of direct sun. Expect relaxed creasing; it settles as the robe is worn.
